If you have not reassessed your mortgage recently, you may be on the standard variable rate (SVR). This is when the initial deal period has ended (2 or 5 year fixed for example) and then you will be charged the reversion rate which is typically higher than a deal you could get by switching deal or provider. To avoid this higher SVR, we can look to get yourselves remortgaged onto a new deal. We can begin the process of remortgaging up to 6 months ahead of your current deal coming to an end.
