Adele helps with the day to day running of Turnstone Mortgages social media when not busy teaching at the local primary school.

Tyler Farr

Tyler has worked in the financial services for the last 7 years off the back of a degree in Accounting and Finance from Chichester University. He decided to set up Turnstone Mortgages to run a mortgage brokerage the way it should be. Good honest trustworthy mortgage advice that is free for anyone in the UK.

In down time, Tyler enjoys a Guinness in the sun, scrolling through Autotrader and long walks with Rosie.

Who is Turnstone Mortgages?

Turnstone Mortgages is almost entirely run by myself (Tyler) with the exception of some help running my social media page from my fiancé Adele.

I take your calls, give the advice, mangage your applications and even designed the website myself.

I take a lot of pride in my work and am the person who you will be working with from start to finish, you will not be passed around from person to person or department to department. Turnstone Mortgages is not a large company and so I treat every person like a person and not a number. I have personally helped over 1,000 people to date with a mortgage and looking to help even more.

I work from an office dedicated from my home in Southampton and help people across the whole of the UK online, via phone and email. As long as you live in the UK, I can help.

Best of all, my services are completely fee free. No advice fees, no hidden fees and no charges at the end.

I make all of my income through arranging your mortgages, arranging your insurance and finally I receive a comission if you use a solicitor recommended by myself. The deals you get will not be affected by my commission on the above. Brokers who charge a broker fee also receive the same commissions as myself.

Although I have set working hours (which are 9-5 Monday-Friday), I can often be reached outside of these working hours. All I ask is that you only call in my working hours. Text me, email me, WhatsApp me any time and you will more than likely get a response.

Free Advice For Everyone

Having grown up in a working class family, I know that people cannot afford to be spending hundreds of pounds for help and so the people who typically need the most help, are often the ones who go without. This is why we offer our services for free. We feel that our help and advice is for everyone, especially those who are most vulnerable.

Integrity

Getting a mortgage in today's climate can be difficult, there are many hoops to jump through and getting a mortgage is not always possible. We have systems and processes in place to give every effort to get you a mortgage but we will not give false promises or ever lie to you. If something is not doable for you, we will tell you why and what we have tried to do to work around the issue and finally give you an idea of how best to go forward from that point to get yourself in a position to get a mortgage in the future.

Customer Focus

Although we do not take unscheduled phone calls out of our working hours, you can message your dedicated advisor any time and we will aim to reply when we can. A breakdown in communication is often the leading cause of bad service and so you will not be passed around between departments or teams, but instead be with your dedicated advisor from start to finish. Each of our advisors uses a mobile number so that they are always in reach.

We use the best level of technology to try to make our research as quick and as accurate as possible. We use systems to check affordability down to the pound. We also have sytems to filter and sort thousands of rates across hundreds of providers into the cheapest rates first, therefore we simply cross reference, affordability, criteria and credit against what is available. This process means that we know you are getting the best rate available to you at the time. If rates improve, you can utilise our rate check service meaning we can secure a deal now and then swap if rates change during the application process.
